Kelly (10-6) allowed one run on six hits and two walks in 5.2 innings while striking out five Blue Jays on Wednesday for his eighth straight win.
EDGE Analysis
Even though he entered on a seven-game winning streak, it was hard to expect much from Kelly in a start against the powerful Toronto lineup, but he's been outperforming expectations for a while now. His ERA was inflated to 6.11 at the start of August, but he's now lowered it to 4.70. The Jays will get a chance at home revenge against him next week, but first he'll see the Orioles on Tuesday.
