Kelley was placed on the 15-day DL on Friday with a left calf injury, Padres announcer Bob Scanlan reports. He had been pretty brutal in the early going, posting a 10.13 ERA in 5.1 innings. Kevin Quackenbush was recalled to replace him in the Padres' bullpen.
