Justin Turner's two-run single in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and pushed the Dodgers to a 5-2 victory against the White Sox on Monday.
Turner's weak hit was emblematic of a peck-peck-peck five-run sixth inning against Jose Quintana that benefited from two errors (all the runs were unearned). With the bases loaded in a tie game, Turner poked a ball into right center which barely got over the glove of a leaping Gordon Beckham. The 29-year-old utility man continues to impress as Juan Uribe's fill-in, going 19-for-54 (.352) with three homers and 10 RBI in his last 18 games. He's collected exactly two RBI in three straight games, and all three of those long flies have come in his last nine contests. NL-only owners ought to ride the wave until Uribe's return causes it to unceremoniously recede back into the body of water that houses it.
