Justin Turner (intercostal) is playing catch but has not been cleared yet to resume swinging a bat. Which means he is at least a couple weeks away from returning to the Mets' active roster. Turner has been on the disabled list since June 17 because of an intercostal strain. He was batting .266/.307/.330 in 44 games.
