Justin Turner (ankle) will take swings and field on Wednesday. Turner left Saturday's game with a right ankle sprain, but X-rays came back clean. He could return to game action as soon as Thursday. The 28-year-old could open the season as the starting third baseman if David Wright (strained intercostal) isn't ready.
