Justin Maxwell will start in center field Wednesday against the Royals. Consistent with their recent platoon arrangement, Jordan Schafer is on the bench against the left-hander Bruce Chen. Maxwell is on the lesser side of the platoon, but his speed and power makes him pretty useful in NL-only leagues.
