Justin Maxwell went 3-for-5 including a solo homer, leading the Royals to a 9-6 victory over the Red Sox on Friday evening. Maxwell scored two runs and drove home a pair in the game. He's been on a tear since being acquired by the Royals, hitting .471 (8-for-17) with three homers and six RBI through his first seven game. He's always possessed a tantalizing combination of power and speed, and should be owned and started in all mixed leagues until his contact issues catch up to him and he cools off again.
