Justin Maxwell went 2-for-3 with a home run as the Royals fell to the Rangers 11-7 on Thursday. Maxwell's two-run blast in the seventh helped the Royals get back in the game, but it ultimately wasn't enough. Hoping to make the team as a platoon outfielder, Maxwell served the Royals well after coming over from the Astros in July last season.
