Justin Maxwell smacked a pinch-hit, two-run homer in Sunday's 5-3 setback to the Reds. Maxwell was fairly ineffective in his previous major league stint in 2010, when he batted a measly .144 in 104 at-bats. This year he owns a more respectable .236 batting average with four homers and 13 RBI in 72 at-bats.
