Justin Maxwell (hand) will begin a minor league rehab assignment Tuesday with Double-A Corpus Christi. Maxwell fractured his left hand when he was hit by a pitch on April 24, but he's ready to return to game action. He figures to rejoin the Astros' lineup by the middle of the month.
