Making matters worse, Maxwell was scratched from Monday's lineup due to illness and has been dealing with food poisoning over the past few days. The 29-year-old was originally expected to play his final rehab game on Tuesday, but the Astros figure to give him a little more time to get well and shake the rust. He has been sidelined since late April with a fractured left hand.
