Juan Uribe finished 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Phillies. One of Uribe's singles was a freebie, with Freddy Galvis inexplicably putzing around on a routine grounder to short and throwing late. After a hot start to the season that featured literally zero walks, the veteran third baseman entered play this evening in a 1-for-17 slump. Uribe still owns an atrocious 22/2 K/BB rate, but his .333/.344/.563 slash line has been a nice early surprise.
