Juan Perez was removed from Friday's game against the Athletics with an apparent injury. Perez worked 1 2/3 innings of relief, surrendering five runs on four hits and a pair of walks. He was shaking his hand after delivering his 55th and final pitch of the evening, and was replaced by Sergio Santos. The team should have an update on his status after completion of the game.
