Juan Nicasio turned in his first rough start of the Cactus League season on Saturday, allowing four runs on six hits over 4 1/3 innings against the Angels. Nicasio did strike out four while walking only one in the game. His problem stemmed entirely from his inability to keep the ball in the yard, allowing long balls to Mike Trout, Howie Kendrick and Matt Long. He still owns a 3.18 ERA and 10/2 K/BB ratio on the spring, and should be able to secure a spot in the Opening Day rotation.
