Juan Nicasio surrendered two runs on six hits over six innings in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Padres. Nicasio struck out six in each of his first two outings and fell off to three tonight, but everything else was encouraging. He issued only one free pass. The right-hander has sandwiched two quality starts around last week's rough outing against the White Sox. Add it all up and he's 2-0 with a 3.50 ERA and 1.22 WHIP through three outings. He'll face off against the Phillies at home on Sunday.
