Juan Nicasio blanked the Dodgers for 5 1/3 innings, striking out seven, in a victory Saturday. Nicasio was rocked in his previous two starts, so there was no salvaging his ERA. Still, he did finish at 9-9 to go along with a 5.12 mark. The big problem is that his bad outings were really bad, plus he didn't pitch very deep into the game on his better days. Still, he did allow two or fewer runs in 15 of his 31 starts. The Rockies figure to stick with him as their fourth or fifth starter next season.
