Juan Lagares went 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Astros on Wednesday. Lagares is in a fight to earn a starting job on Opening Day -- there was even some chatter the might be left off the 25-man roster entirely -- and he made a statement with three hits, including a triple, in four at-bats Wednesday. It brings the center fielder's spring average to .302 (16-for-53) with days left before the season begins. Lagares' decent Grapefruit League numbers paired with the fact that he's one of the game's premier defensive outfielders should garner him the starting nod next week.
