Juan Lagares went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and an RBI double in Tuesday's win over the Pirates. Despite a lack of consistent playing time, Lagares has arguably been the Mets' second-most productive hitter behind Daniel Murphy. The outfielder is slashing .294/.338/.441 in 149 plate appearances while playing excellent defense. With Eric Young, Jr. sidelined with an injury, Lagares should get every opportunity to prove himself on a regular basis.
