Juan Lagares (family) is expected back Wednesday. Lagares flew to the Dominican Republic on Sunday to handle a private family matter. The Mets aren't going to place him on the bereavement list, so they'll be playing a man short on Tuesday night against the Dodgers. Lagares, 25, is batting .302/.345/.462 in 30 games this season and has played fantastic defense in center field.
