Juan Francisco went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, and two runs scored in Friday's loss to the Mets. Francisco is now hitting .394 (13-for-33) with five home runs and nine RBI over his last nine games. With his free-swinging ways, we don't expect the batting average to last, but nobody has ever questioned his power. The 26-year-old should get the bulk of the playing time at first base now that Corey Hart (knee) is out for the season, so those in deeper leagues should consider him for a corner infielder spot.
