Although Joyce incurred a laceration underneath his chin in Wednesday's contest, it's hard to tell whether or not his absence is related to that or not given that he likely would've sat out anyway with southpaw Jordan Montgomery taking the hill for New York. Nonetheless, continue to consider Joyce day-to-day for now. Chad Pinder will take his place in right field, with Adam Rosales entering the lineup to fill the gap at shortstop.
