Josh Willingham's agent, Matt Sosnick, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that his client will make a decision in the next 48 hours. Willingham had reportedly been waiting for Michael Cuddyer's decision, but apparently he will strike first. Doing so might push up Cuddyer's timetable. "Josh has three viable options," Sosnick said. The Twins are confirmed as one of the three, while the Rockies and Indians are likely the other two. Cuddyer has a three-year, $25 million contract offer from the Twins but has been dragging his feet for awhile now. He is also being courted heavily by the Rockies. Minnesota would do well to ink the cheaper Willingham and take the pair of comp picks when Cuddyer signs elsewhere.
