Josh Willingham will decline arbitration from the Athletics. Hardly a surprise, as the Type A free agent is expected to land a multi-year contract this offseason. Teams will not have to surrender their first round pick in order to sign him, but the A's would receive two picks as compensation if (or when) he signs elsewhere. The 32-year-old outfielder posted a .246/.332/.477 batting line with 29 homers and 98 RBI in 136 games this past season.
