Josh Willingham went 2-for-2 with a two-run homer Saturday versus the Orioles.

The Twins traded two-thirds of their outfield over the winter, yet they held on to Willingham, the oldest and most expensive of the trio. He probably won't be quite so productive this year as he was in 2012, but he's the favorite to lead the Twins in homers and RBI while batting in between Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau.

Twins held on to Willingham because he's the only OF they have thats worth a crap (2012 slugger award)...They traded Span and Revere because all they can do is run and play a little bit of defense plus they had Hicks waiting to take over in CF..Hence is why they traded the players creating the log jam in CF.

Hell, he's pretty much the only player the Twins have thats worth crap as we all know Mauer and Morneau can get hurt going outside on a windy day...And why wouldnt he be as productive this year as last year when he's in the same situation behind Mauer and Morneau?

Willingham is an underated player, he's had 25-30+ pop for 7 years..
