Josh Tomlin went home with a no-decision, allowing four runs over seven innings in Wednesday's 14-inning loss to the Yankees. Compared to some of his recent starts, Tomlin was on point on Wednesday. Tomlin entered the start having allowed at least four runs without making it through the sixth inning in four out of his previous five starts. On this night, he held the Yankees to eight hits without issuing a walk while striking out five. Tomlin owns a 4.21 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP, and a 69/9 K/BB ratio. After the Indians return from the All-Star break, Tomlin will take on the Tigers on the road in his next start.
