Josh Tomlin turned in a decent outing against the Cubs Wednesday, permitting two runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out six over 5 2/3 innings. The six strikeouts are a surprise, but unfortunately the nine hits are not. Tomlin pitched over his head for much of last season and holds a 7.15 ERA this spring. We'd avoid him in fantasy leagues.
