Josh Tomlin struck out 11 in a one-hit shutout of the Mariners on Saturday. Yeah, that Josh Tomlin. It was his second career complete game, the first coming against the Royals back in 2010. It was also the first time he's ever made a start without allowing a run. He topped his previous high in strikeouts by three. Tomlin was coming off three starts in which he gave up 18 runs -- 13 earned -- and 28 hits over 15 innings. To put it in other words, we wouldn't necessarily expect a repeat performance next time out against the Royals.
