Josh Tomlin lost his arbitration hearing against the Indians and was awarded an $800,000 salary for 2014. Tomlin had requested $975,000 from the Indians. That brings the Tribe to 2-0 on the arbitration season, having also defeated Vinnie Pestano last week. Tomlin, who returned from Tommy John surgery late in the 2013 season, is fully healthy and expected to compete for a spot in the Indians rotation.
