Josh Tomlin is slated to play catch Friday after a second MRI revealed intersection syndrome in his right wrist. Tomlin developed the ailment by gripping the baseball to tightly in the rain during his May 7 start against the White Sox. It's not considered serious. "The wrist feels so much better," said Tomlin. "The inflammation's gone way down, and I'm looking forward to throwing [Friday]." It sounds like the righty could return when eligible later this month.
