Josh Tomlin has been scratched from Saturday's start against the Red Sox with right wrist soreness. It's not yet clear whether he'll need a stint on the disabled list. Tomlin, who is coming off a career-high eight strikeouts, told the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Paul Hoynes the injury may have come from gripping the ball too tight in his previous start. Zach McAllister will be called up to replace him on Saturday.
