Josh Tomlin fell to 4-4, allowing six runs (five earned) in 5 1/3 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Angels. Tomlin was solid early, but began to wear down starting in the fifth inning. He allowed two home runs: a three-run bomb to Mike Trout in the fifth, and a solo shot to Howie Kendrick in the sixth before departing. Overall, he allowed 11 hits, walked none, and struck out four. Tomlin has otherwise been solid for the Indians in eight starts, owning a 3.86 ERA with a 1.17 WHIP and a 42/7 K/BB ratio. He'll go up against the Tigers at home in his next start.
