Josh Tomlin (elbow) will move his rehab assignment up to Double-A Akron Wednesday. Tomlin has tossed four scoreless innings while allowing just one hit over his first four rehab appearances as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery. He's likely to return as a reliever in late August or early September.
