Josh Tomlin (elbow) threw a bullpen session Thursday. If the right-hander wakes up Friday without any abnormal pain or discomfort in his elbow, he could be cleared to return to the Cleveland rotation for a doubleheader start on September 24 against the Twins. Tomlin, 26, has posted a cool 4.25 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 26 starts this season.
