Josh Rutledge went 0-for-4 on Wednesday, dropping his average to .045 in the five games since being recalled on June 14. The shortstop was hitting well at Triple-A Colorado Springs before the promotion but his bat has gone ice cold with the big club, as he's just 1-for-22 in the five games. He's also struck out seven times while walking only once. The Rockies don't have many better options while Troy Tulowitzki is out, though, so Rutledge will likely continue to see playing time unless his struggles persist.
