Josh Rutledge went 0-for-4 in Wednesday's loss to the Giants, dropping his OBP to .235. Rutledge's career OBP dropped under .300 today, because while he's a lifetime .271 hitter, he's walked just nine times in 310 at-bats since debuting last year. Ideally, he'll pick it up a bit and justify his presence in the two hole in the Colorado lineup. As is, the team would be better off with Chris Nelson there and Rutledge somewhere near the bottom.
