Josh Rutledge (ankle) expects to be cleared for Cactus League action later this week. Rutledge rolled his left ankle last Friday while doing drills around the second base bag. "That first night it didn't really swell up, but it hurt. It's getting better. I was able to do some light shagging of flyballs," he said Tuesday in camp. "It should be ready in a few more days." Rutledge is competing with D.J. LeMahieu for the starting second base job and with Charlie Culberson and Paul Janish for bench spots.
