Josh Johnson has been scratched from his scheduled start Monday evening against the Mets. The out-of-contention Marlins are simply shutting him down early. Johnson will finish with a 3.81 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 165/65 K/BB ratio in 191 1/3 total innings. He posted a 3.53 ERA in 14 starts after the All-Star break, fanning 80 batters in 89 1/3 frames. Wade LeBlanc will take the mound in his place against New York.
