Josh Johnson fanned nine while allowing three runs in 5 2/3 innings Friday against the Nationals. Johnson gave up a leadoff homer to Ian Desmond and then two more runs in the fourth, but he was pretty sharp. Besides his nine strikeouts, he also got seven outs on the ground. Next up for him is a date with the Cardinals on opening night next Wednesday.
