Josh Johnson blanked the Giants over two perfect innings of work in Monday's start. Johnson, making his Cactus League debut, struck out Hunter Pence and Michael Morse in the second inning before departing. The right-hander had surgery to remove bone spurs in his right elbow in October, so this is as good a start as the Padres could have hoped for.
