Josh Hamilton went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in the loss to the Cardinals in Game 1 of the World Series on Wednesday night. Hamilton, who is playing through a left groin strain, was wincing during every at-bat and also looked uncomfortable playing the field. He is batting .267/.286/.378 over 45 at-bats during the postseason and hasn't homered since September 23. "He's been battling through it basically since the end of the season," said Ian Kinsler. "The cold weather is never good. He's battled through it and he's going to do the same thing [today]." While the injury is clearly affecting his production, Rangers manager Ron Washington has given no indication that he will drop him from the third spot in the lineup.
