Josh Hamilton was scratched from Thursday's lineup due to back spasms. It's the second time in three days he's sat out with the ailment. Hamilton said he felt fine during Wednesday's game, but the Angels have determined that he's not 100 percent. He doesn't seem likely to need a DL stint.
