Josh Hamilton (thumb) is hoping to resume his rehab assignment at Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday. He'll do so assuming he gets through batting practice Thursday with no issues. Hamilton was pulled off his rehab assignment due to a bone bruise in his left thumb, but he's about back to normal now. Angels manager Mike Scioscia is hoping to get the outfielder back before the end of the team's road trip, which concludes on June 5.
