It was one of three longballs the Angels had in the first game of a doubleheader, as Mike Trout and Albert Pujols had back-to-back shots in the fifth inning before Hamilton's blast in the seventh. The dinger ended a 23-game homerless streak for Hamilton, who now sports a nice .313/.389/.469 batting line this season.
