Josh Hamilton said Thursday that he believes his struggles during day games are because he has blue eyes. It sounds like a bit of a stretch, but apparently Hamilton isn't alone in his opinion. "I ask guys all the time," Hamilton told ESPN 103.3 FM's Bryan Dolgin. "Guys with blue eyes, brown eyes, whatever ... and guys with blue eyes have a tough time." Hamilton is batting just .122 with zero homers and 17 strikeouts over 49 at-bats in day games this season. He recently found a pair of sunglasses that he used in the field last season, so he's hoping that will make a difference in his performance moving forward.
