Josh Hamilton doubled three times in five at-bats, knocking in two runs and scoring twice as the Angels handily defeated the Rangers on Thursday. Hamilton doubled in a run and scored in the first inning, and did the same thing in the second. Hamilton added his third double in the eighth, but was stranded at third base. Call it a slump-buster, as the outfielder had logged only one hit in his previous 21 plate appearances entering the game. Hamilton is slashing a productive .293/.374/.451 with five home runs and 25 RBI on the season.
