Milwaukee Brewers closer Josh Hader allowed one hit but struck out three in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save Thursday against the Diamondbacks. Hader had a three-run lead and was never in danger of blowing the lead while earning his 13th save of the season. He's now allowed only two earned runs in 22 2/3 innings of work this season, and he has turned in seven consecutive scoreless appearances. He continues to be the most elite relief pitcher in all of baseball.
