Josh Donaldson went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a walk Saturday against the Royals. Donaldson had an RBI single in the third inning and connected for a solo homer in the sixth. The 27-year-old has exceeded all expectations this season by batting .317/.385/.533 with 15 home runs and 57 RBI. While the third base position is chock full of excellent candidates, Donaldson is plenty worthy of representing the American League in the All-Star Game this month.
