Josh Donaldson hit a walk-off RBI single in the ninth inning to send the A's to a 2-1 victory over the Angels on Tuesday. In so doing the A's improved to 89-62 and cut their AL West-winning magic number to six. Donaldson finished 3-for-5. The third baseman won't win the MVP award, but he's generated deserved buzz by slashing .304/.384/.506 with 89 RBI.
