Jose Tabata went 3-for-4 in Tuesday's loss to the Brewers. Tabata had three of the Pirates' nine hits on the evening, raising his batting average to .269 for the season. He also unsuccessfully attempted his first stolen base of the year. Clamoring for prospect Gregory Polanco will continue, but Tabata likely has a hold on the starting job until June at the earliest.
