Jose Tabata (quad) went 0-for-2 with two walks Wednesday in his first minor league rehab game with High-A Bradenton. He served as the designated hitter. It's not yet known how long he'll spend in the minors, but we're guessing he could be back with the Pirates within a week. The 23-year-old outfielder was batting .265 with a .351 on-base percentage and 14 stolen bases in 20 attempts before injuring his quad late last month.
